Richard Steven Hatchell

Richard Steven Hatchell, 66, of Moncks Corner, SC passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. 

Mr. Hatchell was born on March 3, 1958 in Florence, SC. He was the son of the late Judith Edwards Hatchell and the late Henry H. Hatchell. 

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Rock Hatchell. 

Richard is survived by his wife, Patricia (Pam) Hatchell; his sons, Richard Steven Hatchell Jr. (Angie) and Christopher Hoyt Hatchell (Jessie); his daughters, Amanda Denice Hatchell and Jennifer DeBerry; his brother, Rhett Hatchell; his sisters, Sherry Rogers and Tammy Welling; and his eight grandchildren, Alyssa, Annabelle, Skylar, Jackson, Jace, Bella, Ethan, and Jadon.

Mr. Hatchell was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved motorcycle riding and creating things with his hands, such as woodworking and designs.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 1:00pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation, 869 St. James Ave., Goose Creek, SC 29445.
