Retired MSgt. Richard Cybrynski, 73, of Moncks Corner, SC passed away on September 5, 2024 surrounded by his family.
Born in Greensboro, NC, he was a decorated veteran who proudly served his country for 21 years as well as a retired locksmith for another 21 years. His infectious and no-nonsense personality created a feeling of warmth and happiness also shared by his family which was his deepest passion. Richard was always happy to give time for love and attention to the multitude of furry canines throughout his life, especially in his later years.
Richard enjoyed watching game shows, history programs, and the occasional reality show when he was not taking time to enjoy the countless delectable meals from his loving wife. He never was one to mince words or to not be true and honest about his feelings and thoughts. But mostly, he was a true inspiration to all that knew and loved him and he will forever be missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Dorothy; his daughters, Alison Lucas (Brian) and Diane Keith (Scott); his 3 grandchildren, Melinda, Breanna, and Ryan Kekic (Inelis); his 1 great-grandchild, Ashton; and his 5 granddogs.
A private Celebration of Life will be held to honor Richard's selfless life and memory.
