Randy Dwayne Smith

Randy Dwayne Smith, 59, of Irmo, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

Dwayne was born, October 17, 1964, and raised in Bamberg. Dwayne was the son of Linda Bunch Duffie and the late Randolph Lewis Smith.

Dwayne is survived by his wife, Catherine Smith; daughters, Grace and Georgia Smith; granddaughter, Rylee Smith; his mother and stepfather, Linda Bunch Duffie (E.O.); brothers, Robbie Smith (Maria) and Mark Smith (Elayne); sisters, Dawn Smith Wells (Mark) and Crystal Smith Weatherholt (Phillip); step siblings: Bert Duffie (Cristy), Andrea Duffie (Chad), Chris Duffie (Rachel); his parents-in-law, Butch Hutchinson and Mary Whitecotton (Wally); sister-in-law, Laurie Hutchinson and many nieces and nephews.

Dwayne is preceded in death by his son, Dillon Smith and his father, Randy L. Smith. Additionally, he is preceded by his nephew Christopher Wade Seeger. 

Dwayne was a Master Electrician and worked previously with L&M Electric, QEI Electric, Omni Electric, All Phase Electric and previously owned and operated Gray Wolf Services. He was most recently working with McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation of West Columbia and Columbia Pet Cremation Center in Cayce. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
