Ralph Edward Stobart, 72, of Goose Creek , South Carolina died Wednesday, February 8, 2017.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri to Alfred and Mary (O'Brien) Stobart.
Ralph was a LCDR USN and was a career submariner stationed in Charleston on various submarines, before retiring after 30 years and making Goose Creek his home. He loved spending time outside and meticulously cared for his yard. His children joke, that he would plan outings based on what time he had to go back home and weed eat. Ralph was most recently a teacher of basic electricity at Trident Technical College and considered this to be a fulfillment in his life. His family and friends will miss him dearly.
Survivors include his daughters Carrie (Garrick) Meitzner and Christine Stobart, both of Florida; son, MSGT, Jasen (Stephanie) Stobart, currently stationed in Mississippi; grandchildren, Alexa, Devon, Kayla, and Rebecca; and many great grandchildren.
