Pin Pin Tee, 79, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015. He was born on Monday, December 16, 1935 in the Philippines, a son of the late Yee Qui Ching and the late Nggu Ng. A graduate of Bachelor of Science in the Philippines, he came to the United States in 1960. He pursued a degree in Chemical Engineering at NC State College. He later completed his Master’s Degree in Math at Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He imparted his knowledge and taught at Georgia Southern University, Virginia Tech, Wingate Junior College, Francis Marion University and Trident Tech College. For 25 years, he worked at Charleston County School District and has enjoyed retirement with his late wife, Jane, whom he had cherished and loved unconditionally. Together, they were devoted members of the Chinese Christian Church of Greater Charleston. Along with his parents, Pin Pin was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Long Tee. He is survived by two sisters and one brother, along with 14 nephews and nieces, six sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at 1:00pm, one hour prior to the Funeral Service at 2:00pm, at Citadel Square Baptist Church, 328 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29403 on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Angello Lin officiating.
