Phillip E. Euper, 74, of North Charleston, passed away April 2, 2017.
Born in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Phillip and Lola Euper. Phillip joined the United States Navy and served his country for twenty eight years, retired as a Master Chief. After his service in the Navy, he went on to work in the IT Department at Ralph Johnson VA Hospital. Mr. Euper was an avid model train enthusiast. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association Branch #269, American Legion Post 166, the Charleston Area Model Railroad Club and the Miata Car Club.
He is survived by his wife, Toni Euper; sons, Phillip Euper and wife Sandra of Goose Creek and Matthew Euper and wife Megan of Summerville; grandson, Phillip Euper.
Mr. Euper was predeceased by his first wife, Beverly Euper.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL. Burial will follow with military honors in Plantation Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
