Petrina Ciuffo Jacques

Petrina Ciuffo Jacques, 87, of Ravenel, South Carolina, passed away on March 31, 2025.

She was born on July 22, 1937, in New York state, daughter of Catherine Bolchoz and Victor E. Ciuffo, Sr.

Petrina is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, William "Bill" Jacques, her parents, her sister Francis Enos, and her brother Victor E. Ciuffo, Jr.

She is survived by her children Robin Brooks, John Roberts, Catherine (James) Cumbee, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, an extended family of beloved nieces and nephews, and her long-time caregiver and family friend, Crystal Garvin.

Petrina graduated from Bishop England High School in 1955. She worked as a civil servant for the federal government and, along with her husband Bill, founded American Inspection Services in 1991.

A Catholic graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Rd, Charleston SC 29412 on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Petrina's memory to Share Our Suzy or to Hollings Cancer Center at Medical University of South Carolina.
