Penelope "Penny" Chandler

Penelope Olson Chandler (Penny),  73, went home to her Lord and Savior on March 18, 2023. Penny was born March 23, 1949 in Oakland, California to the late Arnold C. Olson and Dorothy L. Floyd . 

Penny was a 1968 graduate of Lower Richland High School. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church for 60 years and served in many ways including singing in the choir, volunteering as a nursery worker, working as the financial secretary and was the historian for the women of the Church. Penny was the bookkeeper for WNOK| WLTX-TV for 30 years. Penny also served as a notary public for over 40 years.

She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Marion Chandler; a Brother, Terry Olson of Decorah, IA; Sisters, Jo Dyer (Robert) of Carthage,NC, Louise Coursey (Don) of North Augusta, SC; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Brothers, John and Sandy Olson and her sister, Geraldine Hutto.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on April 29, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church with visitation 2 hours prior. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
