Pauline S. Brown, 66, of Goose Creek, went home to the Lord on January 18, 2016. Born in Carthage, IL to the late Willis and Helen Fry. She moved to Tucson, AZ at the age of 13, where she graduated high school and worked at Tucson Medical, before marrying, starting a family, and enlisting in the Air Force. After retiring from the United States Air Force after 20 years, she continued her career as an administrator and later a Homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed many hobbies such as, quilting, knitting, sewing, assembling puzzles, painting, camping, cooking, but mostly baking (which her family loved). She was an active member of the Goose Creek United Methodist Church and served in many ways including: Water Ministry, Food Ministry and Clergy Luncheons. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Survived by her husband of 27 ¾ years Timothy G. Brown; children, Danny Christopher and his wife Evie of Lancaster, SC and Tammy Eaton and her husband Adam of Hanahan, SC; grandchildren, Morgan Phillips, Raevyn Brown, Eden Christopher, Frank McDonald, and Aeris Eaton; sisters, Joyce, Judy, and Jean. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home Goose Creek Chapel. Her funeral service will be held Friday, January 22, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Goose Creek United Methodist Church, 142 Red Bank Road Goose Creek, SC 29445. Burial will immediately follow at Whispering Pines Cemetery, Moncks Corner SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or the Food Ministry at Goose Creek United Methodist Church.
