Patrick Michael D'Angelo

Patrick "Pat D" Michael D'Angelo, 53, of Ridgeville, SC, a business owner and fiancé to Heather Moreland, passed away on Friday, July 9th, 2021.

He was born on April 11th, 1968, in Charleston, SC to the late Patrick D'Angelo and Jessie Ruth Riley.

Apart from his father, Patrick was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bryant Riley and brother-in-law, Phil Bishop.
In addition to his mother, Ruth and fiancé, Heather, he is survived by a special daughter-to-be, Trinity Moreland; 2 sisters, Maria Williams (Dempsey) of Summerville, SC and Sharon Bishop of Summerville, SC; 1 brother, Kevin Riley, (Casey) of Summerville, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Patrick graduated from Summerville High School in 1986. He attended Trident Technical College. His senior year of high school he started working for United Parcel Service (UPS) for about 15 years moving his way up to management. He left and started D'Angelo Properties LLC, a property rental business. Later, he started Environmental Control Specialists, an insulation installation company.

Patrick enjoyed working out, heavy equipment, and spending time with family and friends. He also loved animals, especially his precious dogs (Remi, Honey, and Sebastian) and the neighborhood stray cats. Patrick was loved very much and will be so missed by his family and friends.

The family will receive friends and family Thursday, July 15, 2021, from 6-7PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 869 St. James, Ave., Goose Creek, SC 29445. A memorial service will be held the same evening from 7-8PM. He will be cremated and entombed at Cypress United Methodist Church Cemetery in Ridgeville.
