Patricia Ellen Watters

Patricia Ellen Watters, 74, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, passed into the care of our Lord on July 13, 2022, after a brief illness. 

Born on September 6, 1947, in Boston, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Susan E. Perrell and Frank A. Perrell. 

She grew up in Arlington, Massachusetts, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

She spent most of her early life raising her family in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, where she was a member of several community groups, most notably as the President of the Parent Teacher Association and President of the Portsmouth Rotary Club. She went into the Real Estate profession where she excelled with numerous awards, joining her husband Paul in the business for over twenty years, as they became a very successful team.

Since moving to Mt. Pleasant, Pat has been active in both social and civic groups. She was the Chair of the Architectural Review Board for her neighborhood and was past Treasurer for the East Cooper Women's Republican Club. She was a member of the St. Andrews Flower Guild and a member of one of the St. Andrews Good News Life Groups with her husband. Her love of fitness led her to an active life, with biking, running and playing tennis with her close friends as high points in her life.

Pat was a friend to everyone she met. With a passion for all things related to design, architecture and fashion, Pat had exquisite taste, a style all her own and excelled in decorating. She was by nature kind and loving, and was especially fond of her family and friends. She was a Christian and patriot and loved her country.

Pat was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Perrell and is survived by her husband, Paul Watters; children: Kristin Palombo, Alexander Palombo and Timothy Palombo; granddaughter, Serafina Palombo; brother, Robert Perrell and sister, Susan Perrell.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on July 30, 2022, at St. Andrews Church, 440 Whilden Street, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina 29464.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Pat's name can be made to St. Andrews Church at the above address.
