Patricia "Pat" Ida Beckenstein O'Quinn

Patricia "Pat" Ida Beckenstein O’Quinn, 81, of James Island, wife of the late Tom O’Quinn, passed away on Saturday November 3, 2018 at Roper Hospital.

The relatives and friends of Pat O’Quinn are invited to attend a memorial service at New Beginnings Community Church at 849 Fort Johnson Road, Charleston SC 29412 on Monday November 12, 2018 at 12:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, prior to the memorial service. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery 604 Fort Johnson Road, Charleston SC 29412.

The daughter of the late Leonard Beckenstein and Margaret (Arms) Beckenstein, Pat was born on November 10, 1936 in Plain Field, New Jersey. Pat retired from Sears Roebuck after 30 years of service and she was a lifelong member of New Beginnings Community Church. Pat enjoyed going to the beach and adored her dogs. She loved her children but her greatest pride and joy in life was her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and is survived by her children: Thomas (Rochelle), Norma Harley (Bruce), and Danny (Sherri); nine grandchildren: Tommy, Taylor, Trent, Brittany, Austin, Hannah, Casey, Whitney, Callie; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Beginnings Community Church.
