Pamela Renee Chitwood, 51, of Charleston, SC, died on Tuesday, August 8, 2017.
She was born on January 27, 1966 in Charleston, SC, daughter of Barbara Ann Brownlee Dority and the late Harold Richard Dovre.
Pam is predeceased by her grandparents.
Pam was a free-spirit who enjoyed life. She loved Folly Beach. She enjoyed her many years working in the food and beverage industry. Pam loved all animals, but especially her cats. Pam also enjoyed cooking and gardening.
She will be missed by her mother, Barbara Dority of Charleston, SC; brother, Rick Dovre of N. Augusta, SC; sister, Kimberly Dovre of HI; neice, Erica Dovre. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Rd., N. Charleston, SC 29406.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
