Pamela Drue Scherrer
November 27, 1951 — February 1, 2022
Pamela Drue Scherrer, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, widow of Robert Lewis Scherrer, entered into eternal rest on February, 1, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Born on November 27, 1951 in Sanford, Florida, Drue was the daughter of the late Jesse C Lodge, Sr and Connie Kirby Lodge.
Drue was a faithful member of New Beginnings Worship Center in Moncks Corner, SC. Before she became ill, she was very active in the Women's Ministry serving as the leader of the Sisters of Strength. She enjoyed singing and spending time with her Church Family and Friends. Drue was an insurance adjuster for many years. She also worked as a receptionist at Berkeley Family Practice before she retired to take care of her late husband.
Drue loved the three "C's", Church, Crafting and Cruising. She loved shopping with her sisters!
Drue is survived by her daughter Angela Ashalintubbi of Moncks Corner, SC; brothers, Arthur Lodge (Uta) of Ladson, SC and Jesse C Lodge, Jr (Frances) of Lancaster, SC; sisters, Becky Smith (Jim) of Gainesville, GA and Tina Thomas (Tony) of Moncks Corner, SC and grandchildren, Emily Ashalintubbi, Keagan Ashalintubbi, Taylor Crownover, Kyle Barham, and Izzy Barham.
In addition to her late husband, Drue was preceded in death by her daughter Stephanie Barham and sister Tammy Ward.
Drue's "Celebration of Life" will be held Sunday, February 13th, 3pm at New Beginnings Worship Center, 2816 S Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner, SC.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Drue's memory can be made to her church New Beginnings.
