Ola Faye Begley, 74, of Johns Island, South Carolina died, Friday, May 4, 2018.
She was born on February 15, 1944 in Hamilton, Ohio to Oakley and Mary (Lester) Hensley and was a cosmetologist and a homemaker. She was a avid doll collector, huge animal lover, loved Facebook and enjoyed playing games like Candy Crush. She was a member of the James Island Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and was team captain for the James Island Fire Department Junior Drill Team.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon F. Cox, Lisa A. Begley and Kimberly L. Lowe; grandchildren, Ashley Goins, Nikki Beare (Brian), Christopher Lowe, Jordan Lowe, and Dillon Bottoms; great-grandchildren, Cameron Estridge, Brooklyn Estridge, Kaiden Lundsford, and Leland Beare; her sisters, Esther Jackson and Louella Koch; sisters-in-law, Connie Frost (Buddy) and Sue Frost and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter, Deanna Sue Begley, her sisters, Lona Turner and Ethel Bowling and her brother, Wayne Hensley.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, James Island Chapel.
A graveside service will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, James Island, South Carolina.
