Nina Farrell, 82, of Johns Island, South Carolina, passed away on May 5, 2019.
She was born on August 22, 1936 in Sardis, Georgia, daughter of Florie Bessinger and Alvin Heath.
Nina was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Mae and Weedie; 1 brother: Buddy; her son : Bobby Farrell, Jr.; a grandson: Jason and a granddaughter Niki.
She is survived by Bobby Farrell, Sr. of Johns Island, South Carolina; a daughter Lynn, a son David and her grandchildren and great-grand children.
She graduated from Sardis High School in Sardis, Ga. She was an active member of Victory Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and crocheting. However, most of all she loved spending time with family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
The family will receive friends on May 10, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 347 Folly Road, James Island, SC 29412.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on May 11, 2019 at Victory Baptist Church, 335 Woodland Shores Road, James Island, SC 29412. The burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens on Hwy 61, Charleston, SC.
