Nick A. Collins, III, went to be with his Lord and Savior on the 20th of December 2021.
He was best known for his courageous recovery from a terribly tragic auto wreck nine years ago. His strength and faith shone through every day of his life. He was loved and supported by the entire community. Words will never express our love and appreciation from everyone. He touched many lives in a positive and loving way. We know he was not ready to go, but he showed he accepted God's will for his life. He will always be in our hearts and we have been so blessed to have him in our lives. He was doing what he loved by playing music and making sure everyone was happy and having fun when he was around. His quick wit and personality proved he was one of a kind. He was never lost for words of encouragement thrown in with a bit of sarcasm, which we loved so much.
Nick leaves behind his father, Nick Collins, Jr, his mother, Sally Dodds Collins; his sister, Courtney Collins Oberly (Ryan) and his nephew Jack and nieces Caroline and Savannah. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and the Charleston community.
