Nicholas Edmond Hobeika

Nicholas Edmond Hobeika, died, Saturday, November 29, 2014. He was born August 24, 1939 in Concord, NC to the late Nicholas and Elizabeth Hobeika. Nicky began his professional career in the National Guard for six years. He attended several colleges and Durham Tech and obtained his Dental Lab Technician certification. He enjoyed life with many interests and hobbies. Nicky is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Hobeika; one sister, Betsey Hobeika Cain of Florence; one brother, George Lee Hobeika of Florence; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Barnes of Summerton and Jane David Shields (Rick) of Cornelius, NC; three nieces, one grand-niece, and three grand-nephews. A memorial gathering will be held 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445. The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 11:00 am at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home Goose Creek Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of your choice.
