Nicholas Bradley Valentine

December 19, 1995 — November 29, 2016

Nicholas Bradley Valentine, 20, of Goose Creek, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. Born December 19, 1995, he is the youngest son of Paul and Brenda Valentine. Nicholas was a very strong-willed and independent young man; so much so that if you told him the sky was blue, he would argue with you that it was not. He was very intelligent and had great persuasive skills; convincing his friends to do his chores for him. Nick was very fun-loving; he loved to cut up with his friends and make them laugh. He had an infectious smile and boisterous laugh that would light up the room. He loved being outdoors; he enjoyed fishing, shooting skeet, and was involved in a variety of sports from a very young age. He loved spending time with his brothers and was always surrounded by many friends. Nicholas especially loved spending time with his girlfriend, Megan Grant and her son, Damien, who he loved as if he was his own. He was very loyal to his family and friends and would do anything to help them. Nicholas is survived by his parents, Paul and Brenda Valentine and his paternal grandparents; Thomas and Sharon Valentine of Pocatello, Idaho; maternal grandfather, George E. Repak; brothers, Christian Valentine (Rachel) and Brandon Valentine both of Goose Creek. He is also survived by Aunts, April Bailey (Donald Sallee), Jamie Conyers (Monte) and Justine Pratt; Uncles, Randy Repak (Helen), Timothy Repak and Michael Repak along with a nephew, Sean Valentine. Also numerous cousins including Jonathan Repak, Jason Repak (Brandy), Jess Repak Porter (Brandon), Erika Murphy (Joe), Jovanni Fayle, Elisabeth Bailey Hayes (Hunter), Mason Bailey, Baylee Conyers, Jacob Sallee, Jameson Sallee, and Bridger Conyers. He is predeceased by his maternal grandmother Patricia Ann Repak. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 3pm Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Riverbluff Church, 5421 Riverbluff Pkwy, North Charleston, SC 29420. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2pm, also at Riverbluff Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family. Online condolences may be viewed or submitted at www.mcalister-smith.com Arrangements entrusted to McALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL, 869 ST. JAMES AVE., GOOSE CREEK, SC 29445, 843-553-1511. As friends and family we come together to mourn the loss of Nicholas. The amount of tears shed cannot come close to filling the void in our hearts. The family has been overwhelmed by the amount of love and support shown during this time. In our hearts we know that Nicholas is dancing and celebrating with his Grandma and other family and friends in heaven. While this is a very sad time for everyone, we know that we carry Nicholas in our hearts and he will always be with us. We will keep him in our memories. Our faith in God will bring us through this and we pray the same for our friends and family. We love you all and cannot voice the gratitude we feel in our hearts for all you’ve done, shown, and given to us.
