Nathan Bertozzi Lausch, 44, of Mount Pleasant, SC was called home by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 8, 2018, after a year of battling melanoma.
The son of H. Nevin and Angelina Bertozzi Lausch, Nathan was born February 5, 1974 in Ephrata, PA and grew up on Windy Hollow Farm on Windy Mansion Road, Denver, PA. In 1992, he graduated from Lancaster Christian School, Lancaster, PA, and received a BA degree in 1996 from The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina.
Following graduation, Nathan moved to Indianapolis, IN, where he worked in construction and served two years with Inner City Impact in Chicago. Since 2012, he was employed by Gulfstream Aerospace as a Supplier Development and Improvement Supervisor. Nathan enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and internationally as part of his work assignments.
Besides his parents, who reside in Cicero, IN, Nathan is survived by his brother H. Stephen Lausch and his wife Andrea of Westfield, IN; sister Erin Renault De Haas and her husband Stéphane of Termoli, Italy; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Nathan was an adored and doting uncle to Matthew and Noah Lausch; and Philomène, Gwendolyn, and Tobias Renault De Haas.
He was predeceased by his grandparents H. Martin & Naomi A. Lausch of Ephrata, PA, and Walter & Catherina Bertozzi of Denver, PA.
A memorial service for Nathan will held in the Summerall Chapel at the Citadel on March 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM for friends in the Charleston, SC, and Savannah, GA, areas. The family will have a private burial service at a later date.
