Nancy Lee Reed

Nancy Lee (Hays) Reed, 75, of Cayce, South Carolina, formerly of Evansville, Indiana passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023.

Nancy was born in Portage, Michigan on November 4, 1947 to the late Robert and Bernita (Dunbar) Hays. She was a caregiver for many years. Nancy was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ and the VFW Charles Denby Post 2953 Auxiliary. She loved animals, especially her dog, Gizzy. Nancy loved flowers and enjoyed watching the seasons change. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved her family with all her heart and soul.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Angela Sharpe (Kevin) of Cayce, SC; son, Chad Reesman (Tyla) of Daylight, IN; brother, Dale Hays (Shirley) of Kalamazoo, MI; grandchildren, Maggie Butcher (Chris), Candice Hunt, Whitney Hunt, Dustin Reesman, Amber Reesman, Chelsea Reesman, Brittany Luckhardt, and Hayley Luckhardt; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711, with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday at Browning Funeral Home.
