Mitsue Kobayashi Davis, 85, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on December 17, 2021 surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. She was known as Nanny or Mema to her grandchildren, a brave, strong, patient woman with a great sense of humor. She joins her husband of 58 years, Ralph Stanley Davis (d. June 6, 2019).
She was born on November 22, 1936 in Hemi-Cho, Yokosuka City, Japan, daughter of late Kinzo and Toriko Kobayashi.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Deana Jean Montgomery; 2 sons, Ronnie Dean Davis and Richard Francis (Angie) Davis; 6 grandchildren, Sarah (Luke) Ingram, Daniel (Jane) Scibelli, Brett (Mika) Davis, Amanda Davis, Sean Davis and Chelsea (Ben) Davis; 6 great grandchildren, James, Linus, Ralphie, Bonnie, Dane and Aidan; her spoiled pets Chibi and Nezumi.
