Mildred "Millie" Earle Geer

Mildred "Millie" E. Geer, beloved wife of Frederick J. Geer entered the gates of Heaven to join our Heavenly Father on July 16, 2023.

Millie was born on June 6, 1940, a daughter of the late Roy E. Garner and Florine Hill Garner.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Claudia Garner, brother, Harry Joe Garner, brother, Eddie Rubin, beloved daughter, Robin Olson, beloved son, Danny Geer and beloved grandson, Matthew Isaac Moore.

She is survived by three daughters, Tina Moore of TN, Elaine Shaw (Pratt) of Hollywood, SC and Celeste Chaplin (Bob) of Ravenel, SC, three stepsons, Jaime Geer of FL, Fred Geer (Shari) and Scott Geer, two stepdaughters, Bobbie Jean Morelock (Wayne) of NC and Gail Peterson of NC, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren 

Millie owned and operated Millie's Hair Fashion for 35 plus years. She loved life, her family, being a Hair Stylist, sailing, traveling, dancing and was very devoted to her Christian faith. She had a fun-loving spirit, quick wit, loved giving and a great sense of humor; but most of all, she loved sitting in her swing with her sweetheart holding hands.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 5:00-6:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home and Cremation – James Island, 347 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.

The Celebration of Life Service will follow the Visitation at 6:00 pm.
