Michelle Ann Arredondo

Michelle Ann Arredondo, 58, of Summerville passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Monday, October 7th, 2019.

She was born on October 10, 1960 in Litchfield, Illinois. She was raised by her loving grandparents Maye and Laverne Cleeton.

Michelle was preceded in death by her husband, Javier Arredondo, whom she was married to for 11 years before his passing.

She is survived by her son, Michael Maynard of Charleston, SC; two daughters: Nicole Collier and her husband, John, of Jacksonville, FL and Natasha Jenrette and her husband, Ben, of Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren: Iliana and Mia Jenrette, and Emma Collier; and her brother, Tim Cleeton of Lincoln, Illinois.

Michelle dedicated her life to serving and helping others. She was the Executive Director for Helping Hands of Goose Creek for 15 years. She served on committees at Trident United Way and the Low Country Food Bank. She was known and loved throughout the community. With her leadership and tireless dedication Helping Hands was able to distribute over 100,000 pounds of food to those in need each year.
Michelle's true love was her family. She enjoyed spoiling her granddaughters at every opportunity. She showed her children an unconditional love that can never be matched. Michelle will be missed by her family, friends, and the community that she served with an open heart.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation 869 St James Avenue Goose Creek, SC 29445. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Michelle's memory may be sent to Helping Hands of Goose Creek, 104 Commerce Pl., #B, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
