He was born on June 29, 1934 in New York City, New York to the late Charles Epstein and the late Shirley (Goldberg) Epstein.
Michael was a retired patent attorney and graduate of Seton Hall .
He is survived by wife, Elizabeth Epstein, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; daughter Anne Epstein, of Atlanta, GA, son David Epstein and wife Reydel of Las Vegas, NV, son Peter Epstein and wife Lisa of Montebello, NY, son Paul Epstein of New York City, New York and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Marianne.
