Michael Patrick 'Mike' Kelly

Mr. Michael Patrick Kelly, 56, of James Island, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014. Mike was born on March 10, 1958, in Nutley, NJ to the late Joseph John Kelly and the late Gladys “Dolly” Quaglia Kelly. He was previously employed as an engineer with Sea Fox Boats. He was an avid fisherman and car enthusiast. Mike loved his family and friends and enjoyed sharing his passion for cooking with them. He was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him. Mike is survived by his wife of 29 years, Julie Sharp Kelly; daughters, Anna Elise Kelly and Taylor Bryant Kelly and her fiancé Kyle Auchtung; sisters, Maureen Strafaci (Patrick) of East Hanover, NJ, Patricia Kelly of Charleston; brother, Paul Kelly (Jackie) of Mt. Pleasant, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend Mike’s funeral service 2:00pm, Monday, June 23, 2014, at Victory Baptist Church, 335 Woodland Shores Road, James Island, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service from 1pm – 2pm at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Legacy Fund at Victory Baptist Church.
