Michael J. Nicholls, 75, of Lewisburg, PA, husband of late Patricia P. Nicholls (Thomas) for 50 years, succumbed to his long-fought battle with Interstitial Lung Disease and entered eternal rest on December 02, 2021, surrounded by family including a video call with his first great-grandson.
Michael, who went by Mike, had a love for cars and sharing rides in them.
Born on June 19, 1947, in Ogden, Utah, Mike was the son of the James O. Nicholls and Clara E. Hamilton.
Mike was a controller for several businesses over his professional career and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in many capacities. He enjoyed cars, sports, and family vacations. Mike was especially fond of vacations with grandkids including trips to Disneyland, Disney World and Europe. He also served his country, fought in the Vietnam War, and earned multiple medals including the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. We appreciate and honor his service to our country.
Mike is survived by his two sons Lance (Laura, Spouse) of New Hampshire, Curtis (Cammie, Spouse) of Pennsylvania and daughter Tiffany (Justin, Spouse) of Alaska. He is also survived and loved by his 12 grandchildren: Jason (Julie, Spouse), Eric, Aidan, Josh, Colby, Andrew, Holly, Tyson, Rylie, Clark, Sierra and Kelci plus a brand-new great-grandson, Theodore (Jason, Father).
The burial will be at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, S.C. on Monday, Dec 13th, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mike`s memory may be donated to the Vietnam Veterans of America in his honor.
