Michael Christian 'Mikey' Anderson

Michael Christian Anderson, 19, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away August 24, 2015. Michael was born September 29, 1995 to Michael and Deborah Anderson. He graduated from Bitburg High School in Germany where he played football and baseball. Michael was in JROTC and was planning to go into the Air Force. He enjoyed shooting pool, playing video games, hanging out with friends and family. His family will remember him for always making people smile. He is survived by his father Michael Anderson of Goose Creek; brother Jaccob Anderson of Asheville, NC; maternal grandparents, Manny and Yoly Cabrera of Goose Creek; paternal grandparents, Marvin Anderson of Maine and Anne Anderson of Scotland; aunts, Dawn Cabrera Watson, Kelly Cabrera, Kirstie Anderson Jarrett; uncles, Dustin Cabrera, Robert Anderson, and Andrew Anderson; and dear family friends, Robert Samples and Nancy Browne of Summerville. Mike is predeceased by his mother Deborah Marie Anderson. The family will receive friends on Monday August 31st, at 10:00 am in McAlister-Smith Funeral Home Goose Creek Chapel. A funeral service will begin 11:00 am at the funeral home. The burial will take place at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens in Moncks Corner, SC.
