Michael Angelo Moreno

Michael Angelo Moreno, age 50, of Summerville, SC, died September 16, 2014. Born June 15, 1964 in Hackensack, NJ, he was the son of Barbara Veltri and the late August Moreno. Michael had the gift of bringing stories to life and his sense of humor brought joy to everyone he met. His family will remember his selflessness, strong-will and big heart. He enjoyed fishing, restoring cars, and music. Michael didn’t care if his blood didn’t run through your veins—you were family….his friends were his family. Michael is survived by his wife, Selvie Moreno, together 27 years. He is also survived by his son, Joseph Moreno; one sister, Renee B. Albanese; step-father, Anthony Veltri and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family members. The family will receive friends at a memorial service on Friday September 19, 2014 from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
