Melissa Vaye Richards

Melissa Vaye Richards, 40 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

Born on October 29, 1984 in Pensacola, Florida, she was a daughter of Regina Vande Linde and Michael Richards.

Melissa was a 2002 graduate of Stratford High School and a graduate of Miller Motte Technical College. She passed her time crafting jewelry and painting canvases full of life, color, and creativity. Most of all, she enjoyed taking her dog to the dog park, as well as shopping with her in her puppy stroller.

Melissa is survived by her mother Regina Vande Linde, her father Michael Richards, her sister Renee Richards, her nephew Jack Readdy, and her precious pup, Nala.

The Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home - Goose Creek.

Melissa spoke of her love of and desire for an orchid until her final hours. Orchids are appreciated in honor of her final wishes.
