Melanie Laura Mulder

Melanie Laura Mulder, 39, of Summerville, passed away February 13, 2017.

Born in Charleston, she was the daughter of Pam Armstrong and Wayne Mills. Melanie graduated from Macedonia High School and was currently working in Outside Sales for Johnstone Supply Company. She enjoyed reading, volunteering at the children's center, being at the beach and mostly she loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Alyssa Mills of Goose Creek; parents, Pam and Chris Armstrong of Ridgeville and Wayne Mills of Macedonia; life friend, Bobby Mulder of Hanahan; brother, Joseph Mills and wife Ginny of Mount Pleasant; sister, Stephanie Mills of Hanahan; niece and nephew, Brady and Claire Mills. Melanie is also survived by many loving family members and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

The family will receive friends prior to service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
