Marylou Martell Fields

Marylou Martell, 61, of Weymouth, MA died on Friday, July 22, Marylou Martell Fields, 61, of McClellanville, died Friday, July 22, 2016. She was born in Weymouth, MA, to the late Arthur G. Martell and Barbara (Martell) Fuini. She graduated from Braintree High School and was an office manager for most of her life. She will be deeply missed by her husband of twenty years, Gregory M. Fields; two step daughters, Wendy Safe of Mt. Pleasant and Wayland, MA and Kimberly Long (Mike) of Waterville Valley, NH; five grandchildren, Shaw, Owen and Kelley Safe and Kennan and Peyton Long; brother, Robert Martell of MA; sister, Barbara Devine of Sandwich, MA. Marylou is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step-father, Tony Fuini. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, MT. PLEASANT CHAPEL. Funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. Private burial will follow at a later date in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
