MaryJo Cunliff Reynolds, 77, passed away at her home in Ladson, SC on Dec. 9, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ed Reynolds, her parents, Nelson and Frances Cunliff, daughter Anne R. Fehrle, and granddaughter Patty R. Gunther.
She was a graduate of Bridgman (MI) High School. She served 18 months as a Wave in the U.S. Navy, was a dedicated civil service worker and a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by two children, Cathy R. Schaub (Kevin) and John Reynolds, grandchildren Katherine Mannino (Thomas), Andrew Witcher, Taylor W. Ballance (McKade), Stephanie Todd, Christopher Schaub, James Schaub, Carrie Craven (Zachary), Jennifer Reynolds, 4 great grandchildren: Serenity, Isabelle, Darwin, and Iris and sisters Martha C. Gilliam and Patty C. Aalid (Michael).
Visitation will be held at 4 pm on Wednesday, Dec. 18 followed by a funeral service at 5pm at McAllister Smith Funeral Home in Goose Creek. She will be interned with her husband at 2pm on Thursday, Dec.19 at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St. in Beaufort, SC.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church, Moncks Corner, SC and/or the Wounded Warrior Project https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.
Special thanks are given to Palmetto Primary Care Physicians of Summerville, specifically Kimberly Bova, DNP and Interim Hospice of Charleston for all their kindness and loving care for both MaryJo and her husband Ed throughout the years, and in recent months.
