Marjorie Whiteley Finegan

Marjorie Whiteley Finegan, 93, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023. 

Born on August 13, 1930, in Charleston, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lucille Reynolds Whaley and the late Albert Whiteley. 

Marjorie retired from a career with the City of Charleston Housing Authority. In her spare time, she was passionate about donating blood and plasma, giving over 25 gallons in her lifetime.

Besides her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by her siblings: Dorothy Whiteley Willoughby, Harold Whiteley, Albert Whiteley, Mary Whiteley David, Charles Whiteley, James Whiteley, and Gwendolyn Whiteley Martin.

Marjorie is survived by her two daughters, Dru Mitchell and Tena Finegan; granddaughter, Ashleigh (Mark) Patrick; three grandsons, Bryan Uhrich, William "Billy" Pentz, and Tyler Pentz; and three great-grandchildren: Brooke, Will, and William "Six". She is also survived by three sisters: Penny Whiteley Bland, Catherine Whiteley Davies, and Patty Petro; and many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

Services will be held privately at a later date.
