Marilynn 'Lynn' Fenwick Day (Fenwick)

Marilynn “Lynn” Fenwick Day, 84, of Mt. Pleasant, SC entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 21, 2016. She was born on Sunday, February 14, 1932 in Niagra Falls, Ontario, Canada to the late Mrs. Mildred Louise Fenwick and the late Mr. Walter Carlisle Fenwick. Lynn was a graduate of Bryant and Stratton College and enjoyed her profession as a teacher’s assistant for many years. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and crafts. Lynn and her husband, George, loved to travel to the beach and cherished family time. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, George Fredrick Day Jr., of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three daughters, Kim Elizabeth Day, of Tonawanda, NY, Judy Hetlage (Kennon), of Davie, FL, and Tracy Jeffords (Herb), of Summerville, SC; brother, Walter Carlisle Fenwick (Betty Jane), of Kenmore, NY; grandchildren, Alison, Eric, Ryan and Laura, Nate and Jessica, Bryson, Kelly, Tori, Sara, Holly and Andrew; great grandchildren, Brent, Gage, Cade, Logan, Lucas, Madelyn, Marek, Tripp and Evan; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her loving parents; twin sister, Mildred Louise Mitchell, of New Mexico; and her brother, Paul Montgomery Fenwick (Mona), of Florida. A Memorial Service will be held at Somerby of Mt. Pleasant, 3100 Tradition Circle, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466, on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to Alzheimer's Association, 2090 Executive Hall Road 130, Charleston, SC 29407.
