Marilyn Peternel

Marilyn H. Peternel, 60, of Moncks Corner, passed away May 20, 2014. Born in Walterboro, she was the daughter of William Elledge and the late Pearl H. Heiden and widow to Jeffrey Peternel. Marilyn grew up in Ravenel and worked for Sonoco. She loved to shop and go to yard sales. Marilyn will be loved and missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her two sons, Shaun Roberts and fiancé Dana and Jeffrey Peternel, both of Moncks Corner; grandchild, Baylee Roberts; brother, Thomas Winn of Hollywood. Marilyn is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL. Burial will follow in Adams Run Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
