Marie Dorothy Snow

Marie Dorothy Snow, 88 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed

away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at her home of over 50

years.

Born on April 18, 1936 in Hermon, Maine, she was a daughter of the

late Pearl Purvis Bragg and Ralph W. Bragg.

Marie was a devoted wife of a military veteran. She endured several

moves across the country and overseas with children in tow, all the

while being both parents and maintaining a household. She enjoyed

traveling, sightseeing, and working with flowers in her yard. One of

her long-time hobbies was ceramic painting, which adorn the inside

as well as the outside of her home. She also enjoyed putting

together puzzles and have several framed. While her eyesight

allowed, she could spend hours doing word search puzzles. She also

had several pets over the years to include dogs, cats, fish and birds.

Her favorite dog was her Boston Terrier, Buttons.

As well as being preceded in death by her parents, Marie is

preceded in death by her husband Lewis Snow; daughter, Catherine

Anderson; brothers, Everett Bragg, Wilson Bragg, Robert Bragg,

Darrell Bragg; and sister Frances Morrill.

Marie is survived by her daughters, Linda Coker (Keith Coker),

Brenda Howell (Tony Howell), Jayne Ackerman (Barry Ackerman);

sons, Steven Snow (Barbara Snow), Raymond Snow (Carolyn Snow);

sisters, Kathleen Dugan, and Grace Chambers. She was blessed with

21 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 8 great great

grandchildren.

The graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, February

18, 2025 at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, 3044 Old Highway

52 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. The burial will be held directly

after the graveside service at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens

in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude

Children’s Research Hospital or Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.
