Margaret Wilson Grimm, 84, of Daniel Island, SC died on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. She was born February 23, 1931 in Davenport, OK to the late Mrs. Vancie Wilson and the late Mr. Jesse Wilson. Margaret was raised on a farm in Grannis, AR, graduated from Wickes High School, and then moved to Memphis where she attended business school for several years. While in Memphis, she met and married the love of her life, Richard Grimm, a United States Marine who would eventually serve for thirty years. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, was passionate about her career as an accountant for the United States Navy, and loved traveling abroad with her friends. Her family remembers her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Margaret is survived by her son, Daniel T. Grimm (Pat), of Charleston, SC, and two daughters, Deborah A. Lacey (Tim) of Guin, AL and Teresa L. Vickers (Robert) of Athens, GA; six grandchildren, Richard, Matthew, Kristi, Rebekah, William, and Nathaniel; three great grandchildren, Ally, Grace, and Aubrey; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband of 33 years, Richard M. Grimm; and her son, David R. Grimm. A Funeral Service will be held at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola, FL on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Chaplain Ken Griffith will be officiating. The family will receive guests prior to the service at 9:00 AM in the Chapel. Burial will follow at 11:45 AM in the Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, FL 32508.
