Margaret Ann Rogers

Margaret Ann Rogers, 88 of Goose Creek, SC, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023. 

Born on June 8, 1935 in South Berwick, ME, she was the daughter of Marion Cole Penney and Ambrose Penney. 

Margaret enjoyed camping, bowling, and volunteering a the hospital. She worked in the school industry for 25 years. Margaret loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her family. 

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Ambrose Penney; her husband, Linn Rogers; and her siblings: Marie Cashman, Virginia Michaud, Florence Sylvester, Marion  Bedell and Ambrose Penney, Jr.

Margaret is survived by her children: Kathi Hostetter (Dale), Linn Rogers, Jr. (Tara); Michael Rogers (Sandra); and Samantha Noel (Kevin); her siblings, Patricia Littlefield and Robert Penney; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 11:00 am at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home Goose Creek.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home Goose Creek on Thursday, November 9, 2023.

Entombment will follow service at Carolina Memorial Gardens, North Charleston, SC.
