Margaret Ree Duffie

Margaret Ree Duffie, 94, of Orangeburg, SC, wife of Elbert O. Duffie, Sr., entered into eternal rest on April 09, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Born on August 13, 1927 in Louisville, GA, Margaret was a daughter of the late Joe Harris Bridges and Naomi Bridges.

Margaret was a member of Orangeburg Baptist Tabernacle Church, and enjoyed, walking, singing in the choir, and serving on the Missionary Committee. Most of all, she loved her family.

Margaret is survived by her children, E.O. Duffie (Linda), Brenda Utheim, Sharon Truett, 14 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren and her sister, Barbara Bowers, of Dover, DE. She was preceded in death by her husband, and her son Thomas Wesley Duffie and sisters and brothers.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 12:00 at Orangeburg Baptist Tabernacle Church with a service to follow at 1:00, and burial to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
