Marcelle Young Doyle

Marcelle Young Doyle, 88, of Goose Creek, died August 12, 2015. She was born in Charleston, WV to her parents, the late Marcel and Marie Anne Amblard. Marcelle spent many years as a women’s clothing retail owner with her husband the late Frank Young. As the years went by, she moved to Sarasota FL and continued to work at women’s clothing retailers. Besides fashion she also enjoyed walking, the beach, cooking, and her family. Marcelle is survived by her children: Karen Zwart and her husband Dave of Goose Creek, Susan Young and her partner Amy Meadow of Manhattan, NY, and Mark Young of Westfield, NJ; sister, Armande Browning of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren, Eric Zwart of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Drew Zwart and his wife Elizabeth of San Rafael, CA, Kate Young of Manhattan, NY, Mitchell Young of Westfield NJ, and Mei Meadow of Manhattan, NY. Besides her parents and her first husband, she is predeceased by her second husband William Doyle and daughter-in-law, Diane Manascalco Young. Family plans to have a private memorial service at a later date. Hello friends, I am sad to report that my mother passed away this morning. I am thankful that she had a peaceful ending to her long, difficult struggle with dementia. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Pinewood Place and at Carolina Hospice she was able to leave us with grace. My family is planning a private celebration of her life this fall.
