Mahlon Ann Rumph, 64, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015. She was born December 11, 1950 in Charleston, SC to the late Mary Mullinax and Wilson Pershing Rumph. Mahlon was 1969 graduate of Moultrie High School and a 1974 graduate on the University of SC. She was passionate about her faith in God, her love of art and music, and enjoyed playing tennis and bridge. Mahlon spent many years in the real estate business in property management and as a builder. She adored spending time with her children and family and often took RV trips across the country. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister and friend. She is survived by her two children, Marissa Channing and Saron LaGree; her two brothers, Wilson Jr. 'Giggy' (Linda R.), and Michael Augustus (Linda V.); her sister, Saron Donaldson (Kenneth); and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephew, and many cousins. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering and catered reception at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, June 27, 2015 between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
