Madigan Ann Kelly, a beloved daughter, granddaughter, and friend, has left us all too soon. She peacefully passed away on August 15, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever remain etched in our hearts. Born on August 7, 2002, Madigan's bright spirit and infectious enthusiasm touched the lives of all who had the honor of knowing her.
Madigan recently graduated from Pattison's Academy, an important milestone in her young life. Throughout her time at the academy, she actively engaged in various activities and formed deep connections with her peers. Madigan's love for swimming and the outdoors was evident to all who crossed her path. Her adventurous spirit encouraged others to seize every opportunity, to always be brave, and to live life to the fullest.
Travel held a special place in Madigan's heart as she treasured visiting her family in Maryland and North Carolina. These trips allowed her to create lasting memories with loved ones who brought immense joy into her life. Every visit was infused with love and laughter, knitting together the fabric of family ties.
Music was an integral part of Madigan's life. She embraced melodies from different genres and found comfort and inspiration within their harmonies. Whether it was upbeat tunes that made her dance or soulful compositions that touched her heart, music ignited a fire within her that radiated pure happiness.
Madigan will always be remembered for her contagious smile that could brighten even the darkest of days. Her laughter filled rooms with warmth and served as a reminder to cherish each moment we have been given. Her bravery was a beacon of strength for those around her, inspiring others to face their own challenges head-on with unwavering resolve.
Madigan leaves behind a loving family who will deeply miss her presence but forever hold onto precious memories. Her parents, Paul and Melissa Kelly, provided unwavering support throughout her journey, guiding her steps with love and devotion. Maternal grandparents, Donald and Jo Ann Barto, and paternal grandparents, Gerard and Eileen Kelly, were pillars of strength, offering love, guidance, and unwavering devotion during Madigan's time on Earth. She was also constantly surrounded and in hearts of her aunts/uncles and cousins, who provided endless support and love.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on August 25, 2023, at Crosstowne Christian Church in Charleston, SC. The event will take place from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM as we gather together to honor the beautiful life of Madigan Ann Kelly. Located at 1941 Bees Ferry Road in Charleston, the church provides a serene space for family and friends to come together and pay tribute to a remarkable young soul who touched so many lives.
Madigan's departure has left an indescribable void in our hearts. Yet let us find joy in the memories we shared with her - moments that forever defined grace and love. As we bid farewell to Madigan, may we carry her spirit of bravery, laughter, and zest for life within us always. Rest in eternal peace, dear Madigan Ann Kelly. You will forever be missed and cherished.
