Lucia "Lucy" Marie Malone

Lucia "Lucy" Marie Malone, 99 of Charleston, SC, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022.

Born on December 13, 1923, in Bethlehem, PA was a daughter of the late Bettina Pontecorvo Vallone and Rosario Vallone.

Lucy attended Liberty High School and graduated and received a certification in Hotel and Motel Management.  She carried multiple positions from a Front Desk Manager of a hotel, a Banquet Manager and Hostess for most of her life.  She enjoyed shopping, cooking and spending time at the beach and travelling.  Her family was most important to her, and she spent most of her time her brothers, nieces, nephews and extended family members

Besides her parents, Lucy is preceded in death by Thomas M. Malone, her husband; Ettore Vallone and Joseph Vallone, her brothers. 

Lucy is survived by her daughter, Lisa Medina and a brother Carmen Vallone.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
