Louisa Angelos, 54, of Johns Island, SC passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015. She was born on Monday, June 5, 1961, in Charleston, SC, to the late Helen Angelos Butler and Muldrow K. Flood. Louisa was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity. She was a graduate of Middleton High School and attended the Baptist College at Charleston (now CSU). She was a caregiver for dementia and Alzheimer’s patients. She had served as a realtor and an owner of an HVAC company, as well as the assistant to Dr. Bernard Silver. Her hobbies included putting a smile on someone’s face, helping others, making things, decorating, gardening and boating. Her family remembers her infectious laugh and her caring heart and soul. She was a wonderful mother and a beloved friend. She is survived by her son, Edward Howard, III, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her father, Muldrow Flood of Charleston, SC; her stepfather, Ronald Butler of Charleston, SC; three stepbrothers: Mel Flood of Charleston, SC; John Flood of Charleston, SC; and Paul Flood of Charleston, SC; her best friend, Tara Hollingsworth of Mt. Pleasant, SC; as well as an uncle, several aunts and cousins. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00pm, conducted by Father Aristotle Damaskos. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, June 29, 2015, at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, 30 Race Street, Charleston, SC 29403, officiated by Father Aristotle Damaskos, assisted by Father Ernest Yatrelis.
