Louis Anthony Salem, 66, of Goose Creek, went to be with our Lord on November 4, 2021. Born in Brooklyn, NY on December 26, 1954, he was a loving husband to Dawn Salem.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was planning for a life of leisure with his wife Dawn. Louie enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, NASCAR racing and long weekends at the lake in the RV with his wife and the dogs.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Dawn Salem; daughters Sarah Collins (Bebe), Jennifer Dickinson (Matthew), Toni Morgan (Matthew), several loving grandchildren (Anthony Salem, Skylar Dickinson, Hailey Dickinson, Clinton Collins and Amelia Morgan), sister-in-law Sandra, and nieces Melissa Satterfield and Melanie Bareiss (Daniel) and their children (Ansley Satterfield, Daniel Bareiss and Christian Bareiss). He is also survived by his Aunt Mary Doherty, and siblings Vicki Salem Clark and Gerard Salem. He was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Elizabeth Salem.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 7:00pm at the McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel. The family will be accepting visitors beginning at 5:00pm at the same location.
