Lola L Weible, 79, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.
She was born on November 13, 1938 in Long Beach, CA, daughter of the late Martha Erhling Weible and the late Walter Henry Weible.
Lola had many hobbies including sewing, crocheting, piano and organ. She was active in the Multple Sclerosis Society and the Association for the Blind. She loved attending the Charleston Symphony Orchestra. She had a love of animals, especially her beloved Shelties and her cats. Lola was always there for people in need. She had a love for everyone she met including the many neighborhood friends of her children.
Besides her parents, Lola is predeceased by her husband Allen Ayers Sr. and brother, Jack Leory Weible.
She is survived by her children, Kathy A Stovall, Sandra A Sughrue (John), Allen Ayers, Jr.
(Jackie), Kenneth Ayers (Tonya) and Rebecca Ayers; grandchildren, Gene Way III, Rachel Linsley, Darcy Stovall, Lauren Sughrue, Ellen Sughrue, Emma Ayers, Libby Ayers, Preston Heape, Kaz Ayers; and great-granddaughter Reagan Heape.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 21, 2018, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at McALISTER-SMITH FUNREAL HOME, WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, with a funeral service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Charleston, SC.
