Linda S. Wiegert

Linda S. Wiegert, 61, of Johns Island, SC, entered into eternal rest on November 30, 2020.

Born on December 20, 1958 in Charleston, SC, Linda was a daughter of the late Lawrence Marion Strock and Catherine Tucker Strock.

Linda was proudly listed in Who's Who in America three times while in high school. When she was younger, she liked to go dancing and was a very social person. She loved family cook-outs and celebrations. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her pets, especially her cats, and her niece and nephews. She especially enjoyed being with her husband, Eugenio; they were inseparable. Linda cherished her family, who will remember her for her kindness, generosity, her laughter and her loving heart.

She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Eugenio F Martinez; her sister, Karen Moxley (Danny); her niece, Crystal Burbage (Frank); great niece and great nephews: Remi Burbage, Ryker Burbage and Christopher Ponder; her godchildren: Naji Rojo, Jari Rojo and Gregorio Rojo; and numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Fort Johnson Baptist Church, 1473 Camp Road, Charleston, SC 29412, with a service to follow at the church at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
