Linda Lou Kiser Byrd

Linda Lou Kiser Byrd, 83, was called home to her Lord on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 in Goose Creek, South Carolina.  She attended Landis High School in Kannapolis, North Carolina, where she met and married Clarence " Buddy " Byrd.  Linda was an advocate for all of her loved ones.  Her interest included painting, especially in oils, gardening, travel and reading.
Linda had a successful career in the banking industry where she rose to the position of Vice President.  Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Clarence " Buddy "  Byrd; her son, Ed Byrd; her daughters, Vicki Devaney and Brenda Byrd; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her two sisters, Peggy Goodman and Faye Sloop and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A gathering of Linda's family and friends for a time of reflection and sharing will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation Center, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, South Carolina 29445.  Memorial services to remember and honor Linda's Life will follow at 11:00 A.M. at McAlister-Smith in Goose Creek.
