Lewis R. Snow

Lewis R Snow, 87, of Goose Creek, husband to Marie Dorothy Snow (Bragg) of 67years, entered into eternal rest on March 14, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on February 19, 1935 in Roxbury, MA Lewis was a son of the late Ernest Lewis Snow and Miriam V Buckley.
Lewis, retired from the US Air Force serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After retirement from the Air Force he worked for the Air Force Civil Service at the Charleston Air Force Base. He was in the American Legion and VFW Post 166. He enjoyed camping and fishing in the Low Country. He was a great family man. Lewis always had a good stash of candy readily available and he didn't like sharing it. He was an avid reader of non-fiction books and DIY books.
In addition to his wife Marie, Lewis is survived by three daughters Linda Coker (Keith) of Manning, SC, Brenda Howell (Tony) of Ladson, SC and Jayne Ackerman (Barry) of Jamestown, SC. Two sons, Steven Snow (Barbara) of Summerville, SC and Raymond Snow (Carolyn) of Pigeon Forge, TN. A sister, June Wilson of Jacksonville, FL. Lewis was the proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and one great great grand daughter.
In addition to his parents, Lewis is predeceased by a daughter Catherine Anderson.
There will be a graveside service held at Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, Old Hwy 52 Moncks Corner, SC at 2pm Friday, March 18th, 2022.
